Vinh's my name, although I go by other aliases such as "Dave" and "Gutter." I'm not an experienced artist nor am I professionally recognized (I'm working on that), but art is the thing I do best.

My art tends to take on an illustrative feel. I like making pictures that have a story/narrative woven into them. My art style originally started off in manga/anime style (formerly as Shattered-will) since I felt it was easy to recognize and since the style's original nature aligned itself well with my intent. Eventually, my artwork matured as I did, although it would be six years until that would happen (on an intellectual level). I also went through a time of stagnation - 2 years of little to no art making/observing and 'other' - since I attempted to pursue other paths aside from art that I could excel at. But in the end, this was the one thing I was sure I could fall back on. And from my new found resolve, I have come this far and will hopefully continue to move forward.

Also, you come across people who can say that the things they do best are their passion, freedom, happiness, or other things like that. A romantic artist is what I end up being, and the much of my art causes me pain since it is a more like examining my psyche.
