Iji's Courage

This picture is based on a game called "Iji." It's an excellent indie game that sports old-school, side-scrolling, action/adventure game play.

The character herself I fell in love with. After undergoing an experimental surgery to heighten her abilities, she wakes from a six-month coma to the ruin of a planet Earth. She is one of the last remaining humans alive, and in hopes of saving her home fights against armies of genocidal, alien invaders to save what still remains. Along the way, she questions the humanity in her actions: to spare the lives of those that hunt her, or to annihilate all that get in her way.
